Chimney

A system designed and built to exhaust wood, coal, oil, or gas fired low heat residential appliances. These systems are commonly called a “Class A chimney” or a “Factory built chimney”.

DuraChimney®

Select the diameter of venting you are looking for.

Air-cooled chimney system for masonry fireplaces. UL 103.

DuraChimney® Description

DuraChimney® is an exceptional factory-built alternative to pre-fabricated masonry chimneys. DuraChimney® II is a unitized, lightweight design which eliminates the need for field assembly of pipe sections, allowing for faster installation.

DuraChimney® is designed to stay cool on the outside, to provide a hot draft on the inside and to provide a fire-safe design that protects both the chimney and the building.

The double-wall, air-cooled design allows the chimney to expand both radially and lengthwise under high temperatures.

DuraChimney® is tested and listed for continuous operation at 1000°F flue gas temperatures, one hour at 1400°F and ten-minutes at 1700°F, in accordance with the UL 103 test standard.

Applications

Double-wall, air-cooled chimney system for use with masonry fireplaces which burn wood, oil, coal, or gas.

Materials and Construction

.016″ 430 stainless steel inner wall .021″ galvanized steel outer wall. Unitized pipe sections. No field assembly of inners and outers required.

All-fuel, double-wall chimney system. UL 103 HT and ULC S604.

DuraTech® Description

With a Thermal Tech blanket insulation encased between dual walls, DuraTech offers the optimum in safety and performance. It keeps the outer wall of the chimney cool, while ensuring high flue gas temperatures for optimum draft performance.

The inner wall is 25% thicker than competitive chimneys for an extra margin of safety. No locking bands or mechanical fasteners required.

DuraTech’s sleek 1″ wall design provides for easy installations through 16″ on-center framing. For tight installations, a Reduced Clearance Square Ceiling Support Box is available (6″ diameter DuraTech only).

Designed for normal, continuous operation at 1000°F flue gas temperatures, DuraTech is subjected to rigorous and stringent high temperature requirements of the UL standard, including one hour at 1400°F, plus three ten-minute chimney fire test at 2100°F.

Applications

Double-wall, all-fuel chimney system for use with wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, ranges, water heaters, or other appliances fueled by wood, oil, coal, or gas, and zero-clearance fireplaces that are factory-built.

Materials and Construction

Inner wall of .020” 430 stainless steel. Outer wall options of .016” 430 stainless steel or .021” galvalume steel.

DuraPlus®

Select the diameter of venting you are looking for.

All-fuel, triple-wall chimney system. UL 103.

DuraPlus® Description

DuraPlus® is designed to stay cool on the outside, to provide a hot draft on the inside, to boost stove efficiency, and to provide for a fire-safe design that protects both the chimney and the building. This triple-wall chimney features two insulating layers (ceramic blanket, plus air space). The ceramic blanket insulation is held securely in position, eliminating hot spots common with loose-fill type insulations. In the event of a creosote fire, the compressible blanket insulation permits the chimney liner to expand outwardly in a radial direction.

Designed for normal, continuous operation at 1000°F flue gas temperatures, DuraPlus® subjected to rigorous and stringent HT requirements of the UL standard, including one hour at 1400°F, plus three ten minute chimney fire tests at 2100°F.

Applications

DuraPlus Chimney is a triple-wall, all-fuel chimney for use with wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, stoves, ranges, water heaters, or other appliances fueled by wood, oil, coal, or gas.

Materials and Construction
